*morristown location* I'm disappointed in one thing and one thing only: that I didn't take a photo of the dinner is had to remember it by!!!! It's been two whole days and I am still thinking about the seared ahi tuna with deliciously seasoned snow peas and delectable wasabi cream to dip it in. I have said it maybe 23 times this weekend that the tuna dish is the BEST dinner I have had in my entire life. And i really mean that!!! My nickname for those who have read some of my reviews growing up was big jack the garbage girl bc this girl can put down and eat. So trust me, I have eaten a lot and can truthfully say out of everything that has given me my namesake THIS WAS AMAZING. The tuna was so fresh the sear was so perfect. The saltiness of the glaze on the snow peas with the crunch and the balance of the heat and cleanse of the wasabi cream was a flavor explosion. I wish I could go every night, but oh I will be back. Enough about me because I was with a group: not a single dish was bad. On the contrary it was GREAT. When we were done every plate was licked clean. The vAriety of the menu is fantastic and it's perfect whether you're very hungry or you're looking for something satisfying but not heavy for the outdoor eating in the summer months. Here's what we got and I highly recommend you get it too: We started with the calamari, the burrata (special that night) and the tuna pizza (special that night). Holy sh*t it was soooooo fresh. The tuna pizza was to die for. Everything was savory, crispy, flAvorful, amazing. For mains we got: the harvest salad, the seared ahi tuna (really highly recommend this dish), chicken Milanese (pictured below but just the empty plate because this restaurant is really an immersive experience-very little care for phones and the outside world while you're here lol!), frutti di mare- the presentation and the flavors were so good. This chef is talented and it's worth the trip. The atmosphere: first and foremost I have to say the staff was delightful. They were attentive, kind, and gave this place the extra magic. Adolfo was our waiter and he is a shining light. He has the best laugh, great personality, and is smart af. I say this because he just knows a lot about a lot of things can carry a conversation with anyone and makes you feel like you're sitting at a family or friends house like you see in the movies and you're just all there to have a good time with good people. The restaurant is on Main Street and it's beautiful. It's like you're in Greenwich village with the brick and the trees above you, with warm lighting that casts a beautiful glow on the restaurant and seating area. Like out of a movie. There's plenty of street parking and also a two parking lots without feet of the restaurant. It's also not on south street so you avoid the heavy traffic and loud cars driving by. It's very picturesque and relaxing . This place deserves a trip and you will be addicted !!

Ordered french onion soup and chicken something pasta (daily special). For a middle of nowhere place this would be considered a good restaurant. Unfortunately if you put this place in the middle of even a small City it becomes just another mediocre restaurant. I'm no fan of french onion soup and this place did not change by opinion. The pasta was actually pretty decent and was pretty to look at as well. This is a sympathy 4 stars, as the food is 3 rated in a vacuum but the staff was nice and gifted us some appetizers.

I have driven pass this place many times for the last few years and never stopped in. Today I finally decided to eat here and I'm sorry that I didn't sooner. Adolfo is super friendly. The staff is courteous and very attentive. The food is probably one of the best I have had in this area. If you are thinking about dining here please do so. You won't be disappointed!!

wow! What a great spot. Spending the night nearby on a road trip - hit up Yelp and there you go. Food was excellent and the owner served us at the bar. Both of our pasta entrees were crazy good - the French onion soup was equally great. I had the beef short rib ragu and it was the best pasta I can remember EVER having. This is a real find. Reasonable prices as well. Right this moment they are transferring their liquor license so are "dry" but they welcome BYOB.

My wife and I had such a nice dinner at Bistro 46 last night! Friends had told us nice things about the restaurant, so we gave it a shot. The food was outstanding! As an appetizer, we shared the mussels. Mussels were good, but the broth for dipping bread was fantastic! For entrees, I went with the pork tenderloins and my wife had the filet. Both dishes were excellent and prepared just right. The sweet potato and vegetables with the pork was really good. Even though the meal was filling, we had to try dessert. My wife had the brownie with ice cream which she loved, I had the tres leches cake which was amazing! If you come here, you have to try the desserts! Service was friendly, prices reasonable. Parking was easy. Not sure how crowded it gets, but we made a reservation on a Friday night. Love that it's a BYOB too!

A diamond in the rough! Excellent food and service. The short rib empanada was to die for, bread was delicious (the butter was fresh and good but could have been a little softer), and the cook gave us a complementary bruschetta which was very good! The salmon dish was super fresh and delicious. We also tried the Tucson grilled chicken sandwich which was absolutely incredible. The house salad dressing was one of the Best Champaign vinegarette I've ever had!!! We highly recommend this place!

Went there on a Wednesday night with my husband. We usually head east for our nights out, near parsippany or Morristown because there are more family owned restaurants there that aren't pizzerias. But we were delighted to see a new restaurant (that isn't a franchise, bagel place or pizzeria) open up here in Budd Lake. Now for this part of town, i would rate this restaurant a 5 however, in the whole northern jersey I'd rate It maybe a 3 which brings me to the 4 star rating. That being said, i would definitely return. The restaurant had only one other couple there when we entered and after they left we had the restaurant all to ourself on a Wednesday night around 8 pm which was nice. We ordered the calamari and empanadas as starters. While waiting, we were given some bruschetta and bread which were great! The bread was not warm and the butter was frozen solid. I feel like if bread isn't given warm at a restaurant It doesn't make me excited for the rest of the night but i read the reviews on this restaurant so I didn't let that influence my impression of the restaurant. The starters came out and my husband LoVED the calamari! He said it's the first time he went to a restaurant and the calamari was not chewy. Which is a big deal cuz he loves calamari. The empanadas were good too, on the spicier end of the scale which I enjoyed. We got the short ribs and penne vodka for our dinners. They were delicious! We were too stuffed to eat desert but the waiter brought out two little cookies which we enjoyed on our way to the car! The one thing I didn't enjoy was I guess because we were the only ones in the restaurant maybe the waiters were waiting for us to leave or maybe they were bored but they constantly were checking to see if we're were finished either by walking up our table then walking away, or checking through the windows on the upper level which my husband told me about after we left but It definitely did make me feel rushed having them check in on us and taking the dishes before we were finished. Overall reallly great experience. The only thing I'd add is if I had to compare It to some restaurants and experiences I've had in other parts of jersey, It isnt the best however for this area specifically, it's a gem!

Great place!!!! What an amazing find! We passed by a few weeks ago and decided to give it a try today. We loved it! Great service. Nice environment - especially downstairs. For now the place is BYOB. Now the food: Stuffed zucchini - delicious! Cod fish special - good Pork special - amazing! Nice and tender dripping with juice! If you live in the area this is a must try!!
